Performance will vary based on usage, system configuration, network connection and other factors. Devices tested with a WPA2 Wi-Fi network connection. Tested with pre-release Safari 16.1 and latest stable versions of Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Firefox at the time of testing on: 13-inch MacBook Pro systems with Apple M2 and pre-release macOS Ventura, and Intel Core i7–based PC systems with Intel Iris Xe Graphics and Windows 11 Pro iPad Pro 12.9-inch (5th generation) units with pre-release iPadOS 16.1, and Intel Core i7–based PC systems with Intel Iris Xe Graphics and Windows 11 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max with pre-release iOS 16.1, and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1–based smartphones with Android 12. Testing conducted by Apple in September 2022 using JetStream 2.1, MotionMark 1.2 and Speedometer 2.1 performance benchmarks. If you have done this before, this should be as simple as copying and pasting your code into a new application, cleaning it up a bit, compiling it, testing it and sending it to me to try. I want someone who has done this before and this is a super simple task. I am not looking for someone who wants or needs to learn how to do this. If a Windows form app is easier, that will work as well. If a console app is easier for you, that is fine. All I am looking for is to see how the app queries the network, gets the results back and displays them. I don’t need any fancy UI or a full featured app. The app needs to be built in Visual Studio using either Visual Basic or C#. I need this code to show me how to do the query and get the list of devices, their IP address, MAC address, attributes, etc. Once I have the device’s IP address, I will be able to call my APIs on the device to configure and control it. I need to be able to query the network and get back a list of devices which I will then filter to only show my devices (manufacturer=xsponse). If I click on my device, I see the attributes that I set on the device. Using this app, I can query the network and get a list of devices that support mDNS and respond back. I am looking for something very similar to the Bonjour Browser for Windows. I am still working on the device and would prefer to have someone who knows a lot more about networking than I do show me how to query the network to get back a list of devices. I need to build an application that allows users to see their devices on the local network and configure them. I have built an IoT device that uses mDNS.
